Thank you for sharing your trip to Scotia Canyon . I’ve never seen a Trogon. Such a self sacrificing trip. Did she know you had ulterior motives? Wait, I can answer that question.
I love it there! You get two-for-one by hiking a short distance on the Arizona Trail south to Sunnyside Canyon, which is just as gorgeous and full of birds! I saw trogons in both canyons on Wednesday.
We are glad you got commandeered! Beautiful beings. :)
Me, too. It was a great day, and I'm always looking for an excuse to get over to Scotia...especially in the spring!
Wow!! Amazing photos!
Thanks Jojo! I get lucky once in a while!
That buff breasted fly catcher sure is uniquely pretty. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome Michael. Maybe someday I'll get one in my yard!
Perfect little feathers.
Each one! Nature is so amazing when you look closely...

Thanks Lor...yes, she always knows my motives...and usually is happy to "work" with me! Trogons await!
I should go there. Unbelievably I've never been.
