Yep. Karen was like "Do you really want tell everybody that?" I'm barefoot a lot around here, especially as it warms up, and my feet show it...
I've had my share of harvester ant bites so don't even wear sandals when I am outside here or birding somewhere.
Yeah, love that one...level 3 on the Schmidt sting pain index..."After eight unrelenting hours of drilling into that ingrown toenail, you find the drill wedged into the toe." Did you know toenails fluoresce? (At least mine do...)
No, I didn't know that because when I'm out with the black light, unlike you, I have shoes on! :-)
Love for the elf owls but not for the scorpions!!
Me too--more elf owls and less scorpions! First Orange-crowned Warbler this morning!
