That's funny, (tomato juice doesn't work) Very interesting that there were different species of skunks cohabitating under your house. I would have suspected a family. Great photos.

I think there's a family of hooded under the house and the hognose are coming from elsewhere...or maybe the other way around. The place is just crawling with Skunks!

Never had a Hog-nosed or Spotted here but neighbors have. Hmmmph.

Do you have chickens? The only time I've seen spotted they're in the chicken coop trying to get at the eggs.

No chickens. I would imagine they'd go for quail eggs too but who knows where they lay them!

How does one maintain balance during a global crisis? I found birds to be quite assistive in restoring balance of self care and helping where able. Now reading your words I reflect. Thank you for sharing your words and these experiences, and of course birds and now skunks with us!.

Thanks Dani--yes, I get much inner peace just watching birds at the trickling fountain--makes me believe everything is right in the world--even if there are skunks...
